I really like the contour highlights around the bird.
Overall its a real great idea. I like the idea, it just seems like you were pushed in a hurry to get it done.

the only thing that's not 3d it's the red grass coz i was very lazy to render that. I would to specify that the whole scenefile it's 114 MB, a dimension very notieable if u think all the work was done with a PIII 866 Mhz with just 512MB of RAM.
